Business Development Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join our team at Ortec Group in Sarnia, Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strong partnerships with customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships with customers and prospects;
- Manage customer accounts and negotiate commercial agreements;
- Conduct site visits to assess business needs and ensure customer satisfaction;
- Renew contracts and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial or chemical cleaning field;
- Knowledge of provincial and regional competitors and environmental legislation;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel) and ability to travel regularly to Ontario sites;
- Curiosity, proactivity, tenacity, customer orientation, and strategic thinking.
