About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Framatome as a Chemistry and Technology Intern in Pickering, Ontario. As a member of the Installed Base Business Unit, you will be part of a proven team that is dedicated to delivering clean, safe energy and advancing nuclear technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Project support tasks such as action tracking, schedule follow-up, participation in customer meetings, and associated follow-up.
- Support of customer proposals for technical solutions.
- Participation in projects to gain an understanding of the work and environment.
- Supporting Finance operations.
- Assist with the development of strategies and options to meet internal requirements and for presentation to the customer.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Eligible for Nuclear Site Access Security Clearance at Canadian utilities prior to start of work.
About You
You may have also acquired the following skills:
- Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study.
- Good communication skills and able to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- A self-starter with the ability to work individually or with a team, with minimal supervision by following up on actions and driving to solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to support an environment that executes field activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. to be able to develop strategies and spreadsheets, etc.
- Maintain a good corporate persona to be able to support FRA at customer discussions and meetings.
