Job Title: Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our team as a Room Attendant at Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort Cranbrook.

Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, and making beds.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Work Environment:

The Room Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The individual must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
