**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and resident care in our long-term care facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and assisting residents with dining needs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist residents with dining needs, including serving meals and snacks
  • Participate in resident care activities, such as escorting residents to dining areas and assisting with mobility
  • Maintain accurate records of meal preparation and resident intake

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

  • Diploma in Food Service or related field
  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with older adults preferred
