We are seeking a reliable and experienced home care provider to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a live-in nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring 37.5 to 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate should have a college education or equivalent non-university certificate/diploma from a program lasting 1-2 years. Additionally, 1-2 years of experience in a similar field or equivalent experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Shop for groceries and household essentials to ensure we have everything we need.
  • Travel with us on family trips, assisting with childcare and household responsibilities.
  • Care for our pets, ensuring they receive the attention and love they deserve.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed our infants and children, promoting healthy habits from an early age.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by their parents, maintaining a positive and loving atmosphere.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, staying up-to-date on their progress.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Organize fun activities like games and outings for the children, promoting learning and enjoyment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring everyone has access to healthy food options.
  • Supervise and care for the children, providing a stable and loving presence in their lives.
  • Take the children to and from school, as well as to appointments, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, providing comfort and support when needed.
  • Assist children with their homework, helping them develop a love for learning.
  • Cook delicious meals, using your culinary skills to impress us
Requirements
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's licence, as we provide a vehicle for your use.
  • A willingness to relocate, as this role requires living with our family.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
