Key Responsibilities:
- Assess medical, financial, and non-medical risk factors using underwriting expertise.
- Deliver high-quality work that meets service standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage daily work volumes independently to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance underwriting processes and procedures.
- Mentor junior underwriters and share expertise.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Life and Critical Illness Underwriter.
- Superior technical knowledge in medical, financial, and non-medical underwriting.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong reinsurance relationships and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
