We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and expanding environment.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, part-time (0.70 FTE) position on our High Acuity Response Team (H.A.R.T.). The H.A.R.T. program is a successful innovative provincial initiative that provides mobile critical care for patients who reside in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients who require greater than Basic Life Support level of care.
- Collaborate with rural clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to a higher level of care when necessary.
- Support patient care at the base hospital when not on transport.
- Competitive hourly wages ($37.89 to $47.31 per hour) effective April 2024.
- Recognition of previous experience in determining starting salary.
