Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu execution
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure consistency and quality
    • Manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations
    • Implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives
