Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at the Freedom Childcare Centre. As an assistant to our early childhood educators, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of young children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that foster learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest.
  • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Engage children in activities that promote socialization, creativity, and self-expression.
  • Collaborate with educators and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or education is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
