Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mahi Cornwall Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service procedures
- Supervise and train food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation
- Manage customer complaints and feedback to improve service and quality
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, sales, and customer feedback
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to train and supervise staff
Our food service department operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be physically able to lift and move heavy objects and be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
