Job Title: AZ Shunter Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AZ Shunter Driver to join our team at JobCart Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials in a yard environment. They will also perform shunting tasks as required, safely maneuvering trailers in tight spaces and around obstacles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling (95%): Efficiently manage the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Shunting (5%): Perform shunting tasks as required, including safely maneuvering trailers in tight spaces and around obstacles.

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ Driver's License: A valid AZ driver's license with a clean record and 3-4 years of experience driving standard AZ trucks is mandatory.
  • Previous Shunt Experience: Previous shunt experience is a must.
  • Flatbed Experience: Flatbed experience is an asset.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is an asset, especially diesel, but training will be provided.
  • Previous Experience Working in a Yard Environment: Previous experience working in a yard environment is preferred.
  • Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Objects: The ability to lift and move heavy objects in the yard is required.
  • Ability to Work Outside in All Canadian Weather Conditions: The ability to work outside in all Canadian weather conditions is required.
  • Strong Commitment to Safety: A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations is essential.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay: $25/hour + (depending on experience)
  • Full-Time Position: This is a full-time position with a regular schedule.
