About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at DXB Logistics Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and company policies, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure.
