Qualifications- Education: No formal education required.
- Experience: Training will be provided on the job.
- Location: Work will take place in both urban and rural settings.
- Conditions: Expect outdoor work that may be noisy, dusty, and hot.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Help in erecting and dismantling structures such as concrete forms and scaffolding.
- Provide guidance to apprentices and new team members.
- Mix, pour, and spread construction materials including concrete and asphalt.
- Support in framing and constructing buildings.
- Organize and clean salvaged materials for reuse.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
- Manage clean-up of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
- Remove debris and rubble from construction sites.
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed.
Public transportation options are available for commuting to job sites.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work under pressure and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
- Must be capable of repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
