About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastor to join our team at Mission House International Church, Life Centre Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance and leadership to our congregation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Worship Services: Lead our congregation in worship services, ensuring a meaningful and engaging experience for all attendees.
  • Supervise Staff: Oversee the management of our office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Administer Rites of Faith: Perform administrative tasks related to marriages, funerals, and other rites of faith.
  • Provide Spiritual Guidance: Offer spiritual guidance and counseling to members of our congregation.
  • Supervise Educational Programs: Oversee the planning and administration of programs of religious education.
  • Represent the Church: Represent Mission House International Church, Life Centre Inc. in humanitarian endeavors, social services, and welfare activities.
  • Promote Spirituality: Deliver sermons and other talks to promote spirituality and inspire our congregation.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a religious organization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire our congregation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, volunteers, and congregation members.
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Bini and Edo languages is an asset.
