About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at S&A Drywall. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our drywall installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Safely load and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt as required for the project.
  • Assist in Emergency Situations: Assist the medical examiner in charge in emergency situations.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Operate Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Measure and Install Drywall: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets as required.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures at all times.
  • Fill Joints and Holes: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
