Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist I to join our team in Analytical Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for our site cleaning verification program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze samples using HPLC, UPLC, and mass spectroscopy techniques.
  • Document experimental data in accordance with ALCOA principles.
  • Independently carry out analytical testing following established procedures and SOPs.
  • Perform swab sampling on manufacturing equipment.
  • Work proficiently with Empower, NuGenesis, MS Word, and Excel software.
  • Recognize and report unexpected or out-of-specification results immediately.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a science-related environment.
  • Good understanding of basic chemistry and experience with common laboratory equipment.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical or microbiological analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Working Conditions

This position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about lab/office locations. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time. Manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds. Arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time.
