**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Nursing Care: Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Assessment and Planning: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Medication Management: Ensure the safe and controlled use of medications and narcotics.
- Resident Care: Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Clearance: Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
