Responsibilities:

  • Development: Contribute to the development of our on-prem functionalities, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance across engines, operating systems, databases, CLI tools, and configuration management systems.
  • Backend Systems: Assist in designing and implementing high-performance backend systems using C/C++, integrating seamlessly with existing infrastructure and focusing on efficient engine and image building.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members across different disciplines, including frontend development, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
  • Optimization: Help optimize and adapt existing systems to ensure high performance and reliability in engine and database management functionalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in C and C++: Strong understanding of software architecture, particularly in the context of engines, Linux kernel, and databases.
  • Experience in Developing Large-Scale Systems: Focus on optimizing engine performance and enhancing database efficiency.
  • Unix/Linux Environments: Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, with an emphasis on image build/development and configuration.
  • Certs, Network Protocols, Firewalls, and Network Infrastructure: Good understanding of these concepts.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address technical challenges, particularly in the context of engines, image building, and database management.
  • Collaborative Environment: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
