About the Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital member of our care team at Ridgeview Lodge Community, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
- Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
- Current First Aid with CPR.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Long Term Care Experience.
