About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Value Mobile. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets its sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to help them meet their sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Determine the types of merchandise to be sold, including selecting and procuring products for resale.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage the store's budget, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the store meets its financial targets.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, retail business.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electronic mail and other computer applications.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Positive attitude, efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, and team player.
