Job Summary:

Manitoba Health is seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various urological conditions, as well as consulting with other physicians as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

The Urologist will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and treating urological conditions

• Prescribing medications and treatments as necessary

• Ordering lab tests and x-rays to aid in diagnosis

• Consulting with other physicians as required

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Doctor of Medicine degree with specialization in Urology

• Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba

• Fellowship training in endourology and minimally invasive surgery

Additional Information:

The position will be located primarily at Health Sciences Centre, with secondary responsibility at other sites within the region. Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income, and specialty physicians may be eligible for a recruitment incentive. Benefits available from the University of Manitoba include pension, life insurance, disability, dental coverage, supplementary health coverage, and a healthcare spending account.
