Job Title: Retail Loss Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Private Protection Service.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and preventing shoplifting and theft in retail establishments, as well as enforcing regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts. This is a permanent position requiring 32 to 48 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and prevent shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts
  • Produce reports and appear in court as a witness when necessary
  • Monitor establishment activities and prevent and detect shoplifting and theft
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Judgement and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail loss prevention
  • Criminal record check and bondable
  • Own vehicle and transportation
