We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at DAEHAN CONSTRUCTION LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. They will mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. The Tile Setter will set tiles in place, apply pressure to affix them to the base, and align and straighten tiles. Additionally, they will cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
The Tile Setter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a permanent work term and 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
