About the Job

A1 Quality Land Clearance Inc is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish drywall to ensure a smooth and even surface
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit specific areas
  • Apply and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to install drywall and other materials.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail
