Job Title: Structural Ironworker

We are seeking a skilled Structural Ironworker to join our team at D & R Enterprises. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection of structural steel components.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work at heights. You will be working outdoors, often in extreme weather conditions, and will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
  • Align, weld or bolt units in place
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety protocols
Requirements
  • Ironworker Red Seal Certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in structural ironwork
  • Ability to work at heights and in extreme weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
