Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Execution: Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, ensuring effective display and promotion.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
