Key Holder Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our retail team at the Cross Iron Mills Lindt shop. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
  • Drive sales by actively seeking out customers and promoting products
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Cross-sell products and handle returns of merchandise
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and comply with inventory control procedures
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our products and support sales targets and goals
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory duties
  • Assist with corporate gifting and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative, or similar role
  • Basic understanding of customer service practices and sales principles
  • Track record of achieving sales targets
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • High school diploma
  • A passion for chocolate
