Job Summary

Job Description

As a Financial Planner at Royal Bank of Canada, you will create custom financial solutions for prospective and existing clients within the banking industry. You will work alongside internal partners to acquire and consolidate existing and new clients and assets, providing tailor-made financial planning advice and solutions using our array of investment and portfolio solutions. Your creativity, motivation, and drive for new financial sales will enable you to provide world-class advice and solutions that help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning advice and solutions to clients using our investment and portfolio solutions

  • Acquire and consolidate existing and new clients and assets

  • Connect clients with the right RBC team members to help continuously meet their needs

  • Develop external business referral sources through networking and marketing

Requirements

Must-have

  • Financial Planning Designation (PFP or CFP or QAFP)

  • Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial planning

  • Proven networking and client acquisition skills

  • Ability to cultivate strong partner relationships

  • Digital Savviness, ability to effectively utilize mobile applications

  • Must be mobile within the banking industry
