Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Custom Framing Edge Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate and work in different locations.
