Goldsmithing Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Goldsmithing Craftsman to join our team at Navratan Jewellers Ltd.

Job Summary:

• The successful candidate will have experience in working with precious and semi-precious metals, fabricating and repairing jewellery, and setting stones in mountings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the Goldsmithing Craftsman will be instructing apprentices and working closely with colleagues.

About the Role:

• As a Goldsmithing Craftsman, you will be responsible for examining, cutting, shaping, and polishing diamonds and precious gems.
• You will also be expected to appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect any peculiarity affecting stone values.
• Fabrication and repair of precious and semi-precious metal jewellery will be a key aspect of your role.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year's experience in goldsmithing or a related field is required.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
