About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at La Plume, a renowned restaurant in Toronto's King West neighbourhood. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, and wines to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and wine.
  • Build relationships with guests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the bar team to maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Participate in menu development and training programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • SmartServe certification.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience with cocktail batching an asset.
  • At least 2 years bartending experience in a similar environment.
  • Impeccable wine, beer, and classic cocktail knowledge.
  • Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and be a strong lounge server.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes.
