About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term, profitable relationships with clients, identifying business needs, and designing/developing tools and training programs to address observed trends and skill gaps.

The ideal candidate will have typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You will also possess strong knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation, as well as technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to identify business needs and provide solutions
  • Design and develop tools and training programs to address observed trends and skill gaps
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards
  • Provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs
Requirements
  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience

What We Offer

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $54,500.00 - $101,500.00 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. Our total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. We also offer health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
