We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
- Facilities Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Physical Labor: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
