About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Brookside Dental Centre. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental assessments to identify potential health risks and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dentists to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Provide patients with personalized oral hygiene instructions and educate them on the importance of regular dental care.
  • Perform routine cleanings and apply fluoride treatments to prevent gum disease and promote healthy teeth.
  • Take and develop X-rays as needed to support diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform routine cleanings and other tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
