Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified occasional teacher to join our team at Our Lady of Lourdes French Immersion school in Elliot Lake, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Native Languages to students in the Primary, Junior, and Intermediate divisions
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • OCT certification (Primary, Junior, and Intermediate divisions) and Native Languages, Part 1
  • Preferred qualifications: Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Part 1, and Special Education, Part 1
  • Non-certified teacher candidates: prior teaching and/or training experience in a classroom setting, and a Bachelor's degree and/or pursuing BEd
