Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assessment, treatment, and transportation of ill or injured patients.
  • Work in a cross-cultural setting and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient interactions and treatment.
Requirements:
  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) and International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS).
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license and Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C).
  • Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in emergency medical services or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Saskatchewan College of Paramedics standards and regulations.
