Public Relations Specialist

The Marketing Department is seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Oversee the preparation of public written material, including reports, briefs, and website content
- Prepare written material, such as reports, briefs, and website content, to support our communication strategies
- Write speeches, presentations, and press releases to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Perform administrative tasks, including responding to enquiries from members of the business community
- Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles to support our communication strategies
- Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
- Answer written and oral inquiries from members of the business community
- Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform our communication strategies
- Gather, research, and prepare communications material to support our communication strategies
- Initiate and maintain contact with the media to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions to support our communication strategies
- Conduct analytical marketing studies to inform our communication strategies
- Develop marketing strategies to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement business plans to support our communication strategies
- Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Copywrite to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
- College/CEGEP education
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field
- Equivalent experience
- Business and/or industry
