Histology Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Histology Specialist to join our team in Laval, Quebec. As a key member of our research team, you'll be responsible for preparing tissues for microscopic analysis, ensuring the integrity of our pre-clinical studies and contributing to the development of new drug therapies.

• Perform histology activities: trimming, decalcification, processing, embedding, cutting, scanning, and staining;
• Prepare necessary materials requested by procedures;
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently;
• Prepare chemical reagents as needed;
• Pack and ship specimens accurately.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Diploma in Science, Biotechnology or a related field;
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail and high-quality workmanship;
• Able to work physically, lifting up to 20 kg and standing for long periods.
