Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Low Cost Fencing & Construction Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Read blueprints and determine work requirements to ensure accurate completion of tasks
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as needed
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a clean and organized workspace
Support Services
  • Provide on-the-job training to newcomers and refugees to help them settle into their new roles
  • Offer tailored training to youth to help them develop their skills and confidence
  • Work with mature workers to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper at Low Cost Fencing & Construction Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction sites and providing excellent support to our clients.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to measure and calculate materials
