Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Apex Technologies Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to determine specifications and tolerances
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
Requirements
  • Machinist Trade Certification
  • Machinist Red Seal Endorsement
  • Experience with Mastercam CAD/CAM software
  • Knowledge of measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
