Job Summary

Avison Young is seeking a highly skilled Director, Property Tax Services to join our team. As a key member of our Property Tax Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of property assessment and tax analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and personnel to identify and capitalize on property tax opportunities for clients
  • Manage and coordinate the property tax assessment appeal process, providing comprehensive reports to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, market leaders, and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, bringing new ideas and solutions to the business
  • Travel as required to support business needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of experience and education
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a Bachelor of Commerce or MBA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
