Powder Coating Specialist

Falkbuilt Ltd. is a leading company in Digital Component Construction, specializing in streamlining and innovating the interior construction industry. We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Technician to work a full-time, weekday schedule in a collaborative work environment dedicated to quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powder coating equipment to apply finishes to various metal products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to customer standards.
  • Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, degreasing, and masking, to ensure optimal coating performance.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve proper coating thickness and coverage, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Powder Coat Technician or similar role in an industrial setting, with a strong understanding of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Proven ability as a critical thinker and problem solver, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of technical documents and drawings, with the ability to read and interpret complex information.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy parts, with the ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification or training in powder coating operations is preferred, but not required.
