Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding techniques, including resistance, spot, and seam welding, as well as oxy-acetylene welding and shielded metal arc welding. You will also be proficient in operating welding machines and equipment, such as arc welding machines and gas welding machines.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and requiring attention to detail. You will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products, as well as ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret blueprints
  • Ensure that welds meet standards and specifications
  • Operate welding machines and equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and requiring attention to detail

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and metalwork
  • Experience with various welding techniques, including resistance, spot, and seam welding, as well as oxy-acetylene welding and shielded metal arc welding
  • Proficiency in operating welding machines and equipment, such as arc welding machines and gas welding machines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and requiring attention to detail
