Job Title: Electric Motor Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Systems Technician to join our team at Electro Motors Company Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Electric Motor Systems Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment
  • Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components
  • Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils
  • Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors
  • Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors
Work Environment:

The Electric Motor Systems Technician will work in a noisy environment and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
