Job Description

The Senior Solution Architect is a key figure in the Hitachi Solutions organization, tasked with envisioning and delivering innovative, automated solutions in the Microsoft cloud environment.

This role is part of the Delivery Go To Market team, working closely with Sales to drive the solution sales process from inception through close. The goal is to ensure that our solutions meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will work with clients to scope the engagement, discover and analyze high-level requirements, and define solution architectures with the client, sales, and implementation teams.

This is a hands-on leadership position in a dynamic, demanding environment, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be able to express complex technical and business concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Microsoft and other partner software and services organizations to stay at the forefront of technology innovation.
  2. Develop and refine solution offerings and reference architectures in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams.
  3. Work with Hitachi Solutions sales and delivery teams, as well as customers' business and technology teams, to understand customer requirements and translate them into innovative cloud solutions leveraging Hitachi Solutions' core capabilities.
  4. Contribute to crafting sales deals that deliver end-to-end solutions for customers from a delivery mindset.
  5. Develop and deliver conceptual solution design documentation during the sales process.
  6. Participate in meetings with customers and prospects, taking a leading role in exposition and information gathering where relevant.
