The Asset Project Manager is responsible for planning, management, and delivery of projects located at existing electronics facilities and infrastructure. This role involves taking ownership of critical assets for Eastlink network facilities 24/7 operation and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing a multi-year asset management plan for end-of-life equipment replacements and upgrades.
- Executing Capital work plans through direct project management, supervision of contractors, and contract administration.
- Ensuring job plans and change procedures are developed for specific projects to avoid unplanned service interruptions.
- Collaborating with Engineering & Operations teams and external engineering consultants and contractors to ensure changes are planned and executed with minimal disruption to customers and the business.
Requirements
- Educational background in Electrical diploma or Red Seal, Maintenance Planner.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems, maintenance planning, and project management.
- Strong analytical background with a solid grasp of business and technical processes.
- Experience managing complex initiatives through to successful completion and managing a portfolio of projects.
