Cargo Agent Job Description

At Air Borealis, we are seeking a skilled Cargo Agent to join our team in Goose Bay, NL. As a Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Transport Canada Regulations, responding to cargo inquiries, and providing freight quotes. You will also be responsible for accepting small freight, issuing waybills, and handling cargo. Additionally, you will provide internal and external customer support, manage cargo supplies and inventory, and process cargo for shipping based on customer needs. You will also perform general office duties as required and operate forklift and delivery van.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing customer service in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Ability to obtain a clear Record of Conduct;
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
