French as a Second Language Curriculum Coverage Teacher

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of French as a Second Language Curriculum Coverage Teacher.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language to students in a Catholic school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language and culture, as well as experience in curriculum development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French as a Second Language to students in a Catholic school setting
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in language instruction
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
- French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
