About the Opportunity

Valley Regional Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist to collaborate with a team of skilled professionals who prioritize work-life balance.

The hospital serves the communities of Kings and Annapolis Counties, providing specialty services as a referral center for the Annapolis Valley and surrounding areas.

Located in Kentville, the hospital offers a range of services, including surgical, internal medicine, intensive care, emergency medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, radiology and diagnostic imaging, and psychiatry and mental health services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full scope of practice as an anesthesiologist to deliver care to patients in Western Zone.
  • Participate in call shifts and provide support to the Western Zone.
  • Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
