Job Title: Bicycle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at The Bike Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing expert bicycle repair and maintenance services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in bicycle mechanics, with experience in repairing and maintaining various types of bicycles. You will be responsible for inspecting products to determine the requirements for repair, repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts and components, testing and adjusting repaired products for proper functioning, and calibrating products using hand tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
  • Calibrate products using hand tools
  • Provide expert advice to customers on bicycle maintenance and repair
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bicycle mechanics
  • Strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics and repair techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
